 
I really am a "man with a mission" when it comes to telling
people about seafood. In fact, I've been helping people enjoy seafood more
than 40 years. It all started on the docks of Newport, Oregon when a fisherman
asked if I could do a better job filleting his catch. I could, and the rest
was history.
After 10 years in the commercial fishing industry, I turned in my gloves
for a set of knives and a culinary seafood career. Since then, I've been
a professional chef for several respected Northwest Restaurants (including
my own!) and a corporate chef and spokesperson for several national seafood
marketing organizations.
Currently I travel the globe teaching people about the great taste and
benefits of seafood. Please enjoy this website, my recipes and tips and
